Solo concert in Berlin

The 26th of October, that is already tomorrow, I will perform solo at the café “Soupanova”. For this event, the great cabarets chanson pianist and singer Flavia will also attend. I am looking forward to see her and enter the stage myself and have the opportunity to try some new songs!

Currently, I am working on the final finish of the cover. The release of the album is set to January 2012! (More info about that and the following tour will be revealed later when more things have been confirmed) I also spend a lot of time to paint since I will make an exhibition that is linked to the record. How? Can’t tell you yet, but I can reveal that it is meant to display the visual parts of the Mohlavyr songs. This is a new working process for me. But the interesting part is that it is very similar to the song writing process. It really doesn’t matter if you are holding a brush or a guitar in your hand, the process is just as difficult, frustrating, amusing and challenging as usual. But the best part of combining art and music is that it gives me a lot of new inspiration!

Next upcoming concert is the 10th of December at “Blåbärsklubben” hosted in Jönköping, Sweden. Mohlavyr is booked as the opening act to the band “ForFox” which is a band formed by band members from the successful “I’m from Barcelona”.
